A friend of mine has been raving about a wonderful little gift shop in Newhall called Propinquities so I finally decided to visit last week. I’m so glad I did!

After a wonderful brunch at Eggplantation (did someone say mimosa flight?), my friend and I walked next door to the shop and all I can say is WOW! It’s a sprawling space packed with beautiful things, so much so that I felt the need to do multiple laps through the store and each time I’d notice something new.

The owner, Dana, is lovely and has done a masterful job carefully curating items for her store including women’s clothing and jewelry, home décor, unique gift items, and much more.

The Valentine’s Day section was filled with darling heart-themed plates, mugs, blankets, jewelry, candles and other trinkets. There is also an expansive jewelry section with beautiful and unique pieces.

The atmosphere definitely has a high-end feel but I found the prices on most items to be quite reasonable. Propinquities will definitely be on my go-to list for future birthday and holiday gifts.
